Random Thoughts of a Random Guy

Yesterday I went clubbing with my flatmate Peter and Steve from the US. I am still not fully recovered. It was a long night and we had quite some beers. These beers and above all the presence of Peter and Steve led to an observation which is not new for me at all:

I am getting old.

It is not that I am feeling old or loosing my hair, but ....
I am just not the youngest anymore. A couple of years ago, I always was the youngest when I went out clubbing. Then there was the time when I was just as old as everyone else. Nowadays I am older than everyone else. And come on: I am not too old. I am 28!
So where are all the people of the same age. I do not know. At least they were not at the freshman party I went yesterday. :-)

Today I got a call from Mr Stuettgen. Together with Mr Veber, who called 4 days ago, he supervises the Sun Campus Ambassador program.
This program is about marketing Sun in the academical field. This is done via lectures and events concerning Sun techology. And guess what: I am the new Sun Campus Ambassador for the TU Dresden.
Which is just great!
I really like to be the Ambassador of Sun for several reason:
1. I already tell people how great Sun technology is. Now I even get paid for it!
2. I will get free Sun certificates.
3. I will work for Sun!!
4. I will learn a lot about marketing and communication.

Studiply I forgot to ask about with discount I will get as a Sun employee if I buy Sun hardware. Maybe that would be another reason to work for Sun.. :-)

I am just happy that I got the job and I am looking forward to the manifold opportunities to learn new things. I actually would work for them for free :-) Just for the thrill.
